Brazilian Pilot, Francis Barros, has flown over 15000 hours as a race pilot airshow pilot, instructor, and ferry pilot.
He has flown over 150 surface level airshows, thrilling the crowd with his precision and the excitement of unlimited aerobatics. He has flown air races and airshows in the US, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, the UK, Germany and Austria, France, Croatia, Japan and Abu Dhabi in the middle East.
Francis’ innovative and exciting airshow performances feature world class flying and a lean and precise style. His airshow includes gyroscopic maneuvers, vertical rolls and snap rolls. He is always innovating and above all, strives for creativity, precision and safety.
Searching for the “Perfect Flight,” he is always hoping to inspire the public and those who are passionate about aviation.
RED BULL AIR RACER
As a Red Bull Challenger pilot during the 2015 and 2016 seasons, he was part of a select group of pilots chosen to race from pylon to pylon in exotic locales such as Abu Dhabi, Japan, England, Austria, Germany, Croatia, Hungary and USA (Texas Motor Speedway).
THE AIRPLANE - THE DRAGON
Francis flies the unlimited unbeatable world champion Extra330SC, a German airplane designed for +/- 10G’s with a maximum speed of 220Kts and a roll rate greater than 360 degrees por second, and has an American built Lycoming Engine AEIO-580 that produces over 315Hp!
His Extra has a very popular theme - The “Dragon.” The beautiful artwork is a huge hit with little kids and the big kids as well!
